Space sustainability is increasingly being considered within international multilateral organizations as well as in national policies and regulatory regimes. To help provide some insight into why this is happening, SWF partnered with the Association of Commercial Space Professionals (ACSP) to host a webinar featuring SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden. Dr. Weeden discussed what space sustainability is, why its increasingly becoming an important issue, and some of the international, governmental, and private sector initiatives to help manage space sustainability challenges. Dr. Weeden was also joined by Morgan McKelvey, ACSP Director of Internal Operations, who talked about their upcoming "Navigating Space Law and Policy Bootcamp" on September 6, 2023.
