2020 Annual Report
In a year defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, Secure World Foundation adapted quickly, pivoting to virtual platforms and expanding its global reach. The 2020 Annual Report showcases how SWF hosted 88 online events with over 1,800 participants across 19 countries, maintaining momentum in promoting space sustainability, responsible behavior in space, and international cooperation.
Highlights include the virtual 2020 Summit for Space Sustainability, the third edition of the Counterspace Capabilities report, and multilingual expansions of the Handbook for New Actors in Space. SWF also advanced dialogues on space norms through partnerships with Wilton Park and led projects supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and lunar governance frameworks.
