2023 Annual Report
The 2023 Annual Report offers a comprehensive look at Secure World Foundation’s work over the past year to support the long-term sustainability, security, and peaceful uses of outer space.
In 2023, SWF led or contributed to 113 project and outreach activities across six continents, including hosting the 5th Summit for Space Sustainability in New York. The Foundation released the sixth edition of the Global Counterspace Capabilities Report, updated its flagship COPUOS Briefing Book, and launched new tools, like a NASA-funded orbital policy assessment model, to support evidence-based governance.
The report also outlines SWF’s role in multilateral diplomacy, international dialogue, and civil society engagement, with key highlights from our publications, speaking engagements, partnerships, and initiatives to embed space sustainability principles in emerging policies and institutions.
